Dr. Ryan Smith is the son of two orthodontists (one of whom is Dr. Jerry), so he's always had a deep connection to dentistry and orthodontics. He was, as he often says, "born into it." His passion for dentistry is supplemented by his love for all small-scale craftsmanship, and he credits his hand skills to the many years he spent painting miniatures before Dental School. He is a graduate of the Dental College of Georgia, a brother to five siblings, a husband to one exceptionally kind woman, and a parent to one quiet, grouchy Shi-Tzu.
He is known around the office for his compassionate demeanor and gratuitous knowledge of trivial subjects, with a particular focus on history, film, and non-D&D tabletop games.
This office has the most kind and considerate staff. Dr. Smith is wonderful and you can tell by the staff that they love their jobs and make all ages feel welcome and cared for. Top notch! Who knew it could be fun to go to the Orthodontist!
Dr Smith is a great orthodontist. He treats me like one of his own. My teeth will look great! He truly cares about his patients, as he calls after new appliances to check on me. Thank you, Dr. Smith!
Always a great experience at Smith Smile! I'm post-Invisalign, just doing retainer follow-up appts now. Warm and thoughtful care and knowledgeable professionals. Highly recommend!
I really enjoyed the warm welcome that my family experienced today at Smith Smile Orthodontics. We were able to complete our consultation and start our treatment on the same day. Thanks so much for your flexibility.
I am incredibly grateful to the entire team at Smiths Smiles Orthodontics! I am normally a patient at a Smile Doctors location in Tampa, but I was set to travel when my wire came loose around 8pm the night before the start of the trip. With my regular office being closed and no time to see them before leaving, I called Smiths Smiles Orthodontics and they were incredibly kind and helpful. Even though I wasn’t a regular patient at their office, they listened to my situation and got me taken care of that same day.Natasha at the front desk was so wonderful to talk to, the orthodontic assistant was kind and attentive, and Dr. Smith was equally friendly and attentive. Everyone made me feel welcomed and genuinely cared for. Thanks to them, I was able to get back on the road without a loose wire poking my cheek for the rest of the weeklong trip! What could have been a very stressful situation turned into such a positive experience because of how caring and accommodating the Smith Smile team was.Thank you to the entire Smiths Smiles team, for going above and beyond to help me when I needed it. I truly appreciate you all and would highly recommend this office to anyone in the Marietta area.
