Dr. Ryan Smith is the son of two orthodontists (one of whom is Dr. Jerry), so he's always had a deep connection to dentistry and orthodontics. He was, as he often says, "born into it." His passion for dentistry is supplemented by his love for all small-scale craftsmanship, and he credits his hand skills to the many years he spent painting miniatures before Dental School. He is a graduate of the Dental College of Georgia, a brother to five siblings, a husband to one exceptionally kind woman, and a parent to one quiet, grouchy Shi-Tzu.
He is known around the office for his compassionate demeanor and gratuitous knowledge of trivial subjects, with a particular focus on history, film, and non-D&D tabletop games.
